The Remixes develop the idea of the vinyl mosaics in landscapes and abstract colorgames from the unknown and sometimes pure fictional micro- and macrocosmos. The main material is fragments of colored vinyl, glued to framed backgrounds. At the beginning I used mdf and wooden plates but I optimized the strenght and the weight of the picture by switching my production to aludibond and aluframes. All Remixes are circles as a reminicence to records the origin of the used material. Results of the circle of life.
Die Remixe entwickeln die Idee der Vinylmosaike weiter in Landschaften und abstrakte Farbspiele aus dem unbekannten und manchmal rein fiktiven Micro – und Macrokosmos. Das Ausgangsmaterial sind Fragmente aus farbigem Vinyl, geklebt auf gerahmte Hintergründe. Anfangs verwendete ich noch Mdf und Holzplatten, stellte dann aber die Produktion um auf Aludibond & Alurahmen, um die Festigkeit und das Gewichts der Bilder zu optimieren. Alle Remixe sind Kreise als Reminiszenz an Schallplatten, den Ursprung des verwendeten Materials. Resultate eines Kreislaufs von Werden und Vergehen.
